Pricing and Profit The main items on the fund raising brochure are at $9.95 - $12.95 (all priced at or near typical retail) and you earn a 40% average margin. Some items are bit higher and a couple are just a bit lower; the average profit margin for each sale can vary depending on product mix sold. But the results are more PROFIT DOLLARS as more people recognize the quality and value comparable to retail on this exquisite grade product. They buy more and ask for repeat order opportunities. This increases your volume, helps you reach your profit dollar objectives and instills more ongoing support in your community for your efforts. In short, most groups earn more profit dollars even compared to "higher margin" projects! Prices on most products are based on or within about $1 of what average retail is for the same product in a specialty coffee outlet (this is about the most expensive coffee you can find yet still within the range of what consumers have become used to paying for some lesser coffees and most adult consumers are now acclimated to this level of coffee!). The consumer truly receives value and quality while supporting your worthy cause. Finally, you don't have to sell overpriced product to the end consumer to reach your goals.
