Annick News
April 2008
Concerns about the economy, the cost of food and
gas, etc., abound. In addition, many school districts are
increasing their concerns about health and wellness which is
affecting not only the candy vending in schools, but fundraising
using candy or other foods of questionable nutritional value.
People are going to be more
careful this year with their money so may be less likely to support
a fundraiser selling items that are seen as way over-priced or that
are items not needed in the budget when families start to "tighten
the belt" a little. And that bodes well for Annick's Old World
Coffee fundraising projects!
Coffee at a fair price, of superb quality will
always be warmly received by your customers who support you.
So many people stop at the coffee shop on the way to work in the
morning and spend $3 for a single cup of coffee. But with this
fundraiser, they can make the best cup of coffee ever, for merely
cents per cup! And more people are doing that: Making coffee
at home more than going out for coffee.
While the market will always be ripe for coffee
regardless of economic conditions, the way we operate also is a
major advantage to you the fundraiser. We have the product
fresh roasted, sorted then shipped direct from the roaster to your
school or group.
No delivery trucks or staff and extra overhead to pass on.
So if the economy faces even more challenges this
year, it may affect many fundraisers negatively, but we predict it
will make the coffee fundraising look even better. Further,
the need for fundraising is always increasing while the results of
each fundraiser are statistically dropping; meaning school and
groups are doing more fundraising with less results and that's
beginning to hurt. Conversely, groups doing our fundraiser go
up each year as the community says that was so good a coffee and
such a reasonable value for a fundraiser, surprisingly; if you sell
that next year, we'll support you! You build a clientele and
loyalty of supporters whom you treat with respect by offering them
something of value and quality that they will want over and over
again.
Economic woes may make Annick's Old World Coffee even more valuable!

Annick's Old World Coffee
& Tea - Truly America's FIRST Coffee Fundraiser!!!
Did you know, that as far as
we can tell, we were America's FIRST coffee fundraiser? We
started testing this in 1993 and I could not find another coffee
fundraiser at that time. That does not mean there may not have
been one. In 1997 I ran into a new coffee fundraiser at the
annual industry conference who claimed to be "America's First Coffee
Fundraiser". This of course was not so, but I did not "argue"
at that time. We've been testing or doing coffee fundraising
now for over a decade and in the exposure we've had to other recent
coffee fundraising programs, we retain the edge on the exceptional
quality of coffee that is hand-picked by our master roaster several
times a year on each plantation (top grade), craft roasting and
smoking process NO other roaster that we know of in the USA is
taking time to do anymore and prices AT retail for the end consumer
while the group reaches their profit goals. Add to that each
order is roasted fresh for your order (NO inventory), NO
minimum orders, NO shipping charges (in the 48 states for ground
shipping), pre-pack ("student-pack") process at no extra charge (no sorting for you), 100% guarantee
without questions asked and an end-of-sale reporting.

Thank you for checking in, and
hope you'll visit again soon!
